A welcoming space for cocktails, wine, and shared experiences. Opened in February 2025 by bartender Florian Mahé and Alexis Perrichon, Nektar quickly became one of Bordeaux’s most celebrated new venues and already recognized for its warm hospitality and creative approach.

At Nektar, mixology is about inclusion rather than mystery. Guests are invited to understand the ingredients and ideas behind each cocktail, creating a transparent, welcoming atmosphere. Every six months, a new signature cocktail menu is launched around a different theme - first came World Tour in 12 Cocktails, inspired by the Guide du Routard travel guide, with ingredients sourced from across the globe.

We chose Behind Bars to break the distance between us and the customers, nothing is secret at Nektar and we created this bar to share experiences around the counter.

The Bar Station

For Nektar, we collaborated closely with Florian Mahé to design a bar station that would bring their philosophy of openness to life. The centerpiece is a classic Paloma station.

Set in Bordeaux’s Bassins à Flots district, Nektar blends refined décor with a cozy, welcoming ambiance.

Nektar offers a “Tour du monde en 12 cocktails”, a tasting journey of twelve signature cocktails inspired by flavors from around the world. Each drink is crafted with rare ingredients, house-made infusions, and adventurous combinations.
