papercut is a cocktail bar and contemporary in East Austin, founded by Eric Schild, Corey O'Neil, and Dragan Milivojević. After running a gallery during and after COVID, Schild noticed a connection between art and hospitality. He partnered with two long time friends who had been exploring similar ideas and papercut was the result.

The venue highlights mid-career artists - local, national, and international. Every few months, a new artist is featured, and the cocktail menu is redesigned based on their heritage and responses to a questionnaire.

papercut was recently named a Top 10 Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar at the 2025 Spirited Awards by Tales of the Cocktail.
