Meo is a cocktail bar in Vancouver's Chinatown, designed to evoke a playful, nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the 1970s. The venue aims to offer a distinctive dining and drinking experience, blending retro charm with a modern twist.
The inspiration for Meo's design came from a photograph by Greg Girard, showcasing Hong Kong's nightlife in the '70s and '80s. The interior features romantic pink tones, dark wood paneling, and plush fabrics, creating an intimate setting with seating for 70 guests. A vintage jukebox serves as a focal point in the dimly lit space, enhancing the nostalgic vibe. The bar’s creative cocktail menu blends reimagined classics with bold, new flavors, all crafted behind the Behind Bars Paloma stations.
